About

Hotel Sercotel Alfonso VI

Hotel Sercotel Alfonso VI sits on a quiet side street in the heart of Toledo, a five-minute walk from the Alcazar and within easy reach of Plaza Zocodover. The 4-star property blends classic charm with practical comfort: rooms are soundproofed and come with air conditioning, a minibar, and tea and coffee facilities. The building itself is traditional, and some guests noted it feels a little dated in parts, but the overall impression is of a well-maintained, characterful hotel.

Breakfast is served in a vaulted cellar, and the buffet is regularly praised for its variety. “Good breakfast selection. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the bed was so comfortable I slept really well, especially after a day of walking. The room and bathroom were both spacious. Location is excellent, right across from the Alcazar, with public parking nearby for about €15 a day. I also appreciated the kettle for making infusions in the room.”

8.6Verified guest

“My room was nicely decorated with a great view, which I enjoyed. Breakfast was extensive, with toast and tortilla among the options. The hotel is very close to the bus stop that links to the train station, the centre, and the fantastic big museum.”

8.6Verified guest

“Excellent location, near Zocodover square and right in the tourist area. Plenty of restaurants with daily menus and shops around, plus a taxi stand just a few metres away. The hotel is a bit old but the rooms are fine; everything was clean and the bed very comfortable. I asked for a quiet room and got one facing a narrow street – it was extremely quiet. Staff were very correct and friendly throughout, and the cleaning lady was also nice. All in all, everything was good and being there on weekdays gave great value for money. I would definitely return.”
